Tackling poverty by 'making ends meet'
£250,000 of Tackling Poverty PB funding is being made available during 2018/19 to projects developed by community groups and local people that aim to tackle poverty by helping others make ends meet and challenging child poverty.
Project proposals are being invited from local groups and organizations who feel that they can positively contribute to the Regions Anti-Poverty Strategy and Action Plan. Closing date for applications is 11 January 2019. Projects must link closely to the challenges and opportunities set out in the Anti-Poverty Strategy.
