D&G Local Employability & Skills Partnership (DGLEP) wants your help to hear from parents across Stranraer. As a Community Consultant you will work as part of a team to engage parents in the co-design of employability and skills projects for their communities.
Funded by Scottish Government No One Left Behind this project is supported by £100,000 of investment for communitieis in Stranraer with a focus on parents. Projects co-designed with the community will be voted for using Participatory Budgeting.

What's involved?
3 days training from the Service Design Academy - 28th September, 15th & 16th November in Stranraer
4 hours per week to engage with parents and record findings over the six week period of designing the projects
Who are we looking for?
People who are:
> passionate about reducing Child Poverty by supporting parents employability and skills development
> interested in co-designing services
> connected to individuals, groups and network across Stranraer who can be part of the engagement and design
> able to commit the time and are enthusiastic about Stranraer!
Training and support will be provided throughout!
