Stewartry Careers Event
I am delighted to let you know that we will be holding our annual Stewartry Careers Event at Castle Douglas High School on Thursday 29th November between 9.30am and 2.30pm. Doors will open for set up from 8am onwards. Light refreshments and lunch will be provided.
This is the second Stewartry event designed specifically to allow organisations to meet pupils and teachers to inform them of the many fantastic sectors, careers and pathways available to young people throughout Dumfries and Galloway as well as introducing youngsters to networking events.
We aim to showcase as many organisations as possible from the entire region, as it is important that our future workforce understand just what sectors are available in the local area and open their eyes to future possibilities as well as what a job in your sector actually entails.
No presentation required, just come along and set up a stall to promote your business and any employment opportunities, which may be available in your business. Any marketing/promotional material you may wish to bring is very welcome.
Staff from Castle Douglas and Dalry High Schools, Dalbeattie High School and Kirkcudbright Academy are working together to bring this event to you.
