Grow Your Own 2 - Prepare to Care
Are you struggling with recruitment? Is staff turnover increasing? Then we would like to meet with you.
‘Dip your toe and grow your own’
Following a successful small pilot of our Grow Your Own Project we are looking to embark on another.
In partnership with employability, the GYO program gives individuals the opportunity to explore different aspects of the care sector before applying for employment. Our project would see you as the ‘host’ organisation’ providing prospective candidates, who arrive having already undertaken 5 days induction training, with a short placement over a 4-week period (2 days per week decided by yourselves). At the end of the programme there will be a period of reflection and review, which again we would hope you would be a central contributor to. Who knows it may even lead to employment for someone?
We would like to invite you to one of our meetings to hear further about the project and for you to explore whether it is something you would like to partner with us on. At present the only commitment is to attend one of the meetings, where together we will share further our thoughts and gain your opinions
