Ever thought about a career in care?
Unsure of what may be involved? Want to learn more about caring for those in different care settings? Then read on…….
Would you like the opportunity to experience being a carer, to see what the role really involves before deciding whether it is the career for you?
We are looking for keen motivated individuals who are willing to commit to a 6-week programme which will include training and ‘on the job’ experience – who knows it may even lead you to that ultimate job and career you have been searching for.
If chosen the programme will begin March 2020, you will undertake a period of training, then embark on a short placement with a care organisation. You will be appointed a mentor who will look after you and be your guide showing you what is involved in the job that they do. You will be expected to keep a short diary of your learning which you will be able to take with you and which your mentor will contribute to, this alongside the certificates you gain through the training we put you through will begin to create a portfolio of learning that will be transferrable should you not gain immediate employment following this programme.
