Dumfries & Galloway College have launched several training courses to help support individuals upskill and improve their future employment prospects. Please see details below:
Get into Work
- FREE course to help those looking for employment, gain skills that will make you stand out to employers.
- Delivered over 2 weeks, via the video platform, Microsoft Teams. You will learn employability skills, as well as undertaking a WorldHost, Principles of Customer Service course - an industry recognised qualification.
- Two start dates: 18 January OR 15 February 2021

Basic Cooking Skills
- Learn cooking skills, guided by our Resident Chef, Tony Budde, from the comfort of your own kitchen, and join this fun and exciting course, via Zoom! Delivered on Thursday Evenings, 1800 - 2030, for further details and to book:

- A programme of short, certificated courses to support those looking for work within the care sector. the course will run over 4 consecutive days in February (one course in Dumfries and one in Girvan, South Ayrshire). Candidates may get the course funded through ITA!
